About
Cruising - Important Passenger Information & BOOKING
AGREEMENT
PLEASE CHECK LEGAL NAMES the names on your
invoice should match the ID you will be using to travel.
If there is an incorrect name or an incorrect spelling,
please contact us immediately. SERVICE CHARGES incurred
for correcting these names after cruise tickets or air
tickets are issued are the passengers responsibility.
Proper Identification is REQUIRED - You may be
denied boarding if you do not carry proof of citizenship,
or a passport where required. A passport is easiest in
all cases, and is an absolute requirement for cruises
stopping at a foreign port (exceptions: Mexico, Canada).
For Mexico or Canada, a certified birth certificate and
photo ID or passport are required for embarkation.
It is the ultimate responsibility of the passenger, not
Parker Cruise & Tour, to be aware of the proper documentation
required for travel to various countries. This especially
applies if you are a non-US Citizen. If you are denied
boarding because you do not have proper identification
and documentation to travel, Parker Cruise & Tour
is not responsible. 100% cancellation penalty will apply.
Please have proper documentation!
Travel Insurance We strongly recommend you
purchase travel insurance at the time you make your reservation.
An insurance packet is enclosed with your first reservation
confirmation. Call Parker Cruise & Tour to purchase.
Cancellation, Name Changes & Penalties - In addition
to cruise line or travel supplier cancellation penalties,
a minimum service charge of $35 per person will be charged
to start the cancellation process after the passenger's
initial deposit; total cancellation penalties not to exceed
the original total cost of the trip. Parker Cruise &
Tour cannot ask a travel supplier to make an exception
to a published cancellation or change fee policy. A "name
change" made after the final payment constitutes
a cancellation and release of space. Penalty will apply
even if only one name in a double occupancy cabin is changed.
Dining Your invoice reflects your dining
request only. The assignment of the dining is the responsibility
of the cruise line. Parker Cruise & Tour forwards
this request to the cruise line as it appears on your
invoice. (All Dining Non-Smoking!)
Your Tickets After we receive your final
payment, and/or approximately 14-days prior to your cruise,
we will receive your tickets from the cruise line. We
will proof them and forward them to you by regular 1st
Class U.S. Mail.
Air Disclaimer & Advisory
Regardless of when you book an air & sea combined
package, the cruise line chooses the air carrier, schedule
and routing approximately 45-30 days prior to travel.
The cruise line makes flight information available
to the travel agency ONLY after final payment has been
received, and generally 25 days prior to travel.
Frequent flyer mileage programs, airline seat selection,
and requests for special needs are solely the responsibility
of the traveler in accordance with airline policies. Parker
Cruise & Tour will provide telephone numbers to the
passenger to facilitate this.
Parker Cruise & Tour as no control over air
carrier, seat assignments, schedule, routing, or delays.
If you have special needs or preferences, Parker Cruise
& Tour encourages you to make custom air arrangements.
Custom Air Arrangements
For an additional charge Parker Cruise & Tour can
make a request with the cruise line for a specific airline,
schedule, routing, or other deviation from scheduled travel
dates. Minimum service charge of $15 per person applies
IN ADDITION to the cruise line service charge and fare
differentials. The minimum service charge applies REGARDLESS
of whether or not the passenger accepts the custom itinerary.
Requests cannot be processed within 60 days of departure.
Please call our office if you would like to pay additional
charges for a Custom Air package.
Responsibility: Parker Cruise & Tour shall
not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness, death,
cost or delay arising from or in connection with the services
and facilities provided by or any act of a supplier such
as cruise line, airline, rail, hotel, tour, restaurant,
or any other transport operator, etc., whether or not
such arrangements were made by Parker Cruise & Tour.
General: Parker Cruise & Tour reserves the
right to correct clerical errors on the invoice, including
but not limited to taxes, government fees, air and cruise
charges, and miscellaneous costs any time up to commencement
of travel. Additionally, from time to time, there may
be an increase in the amount of government taxes and fees,
or a fuel surcharge imposed by the cruise line or government
agency. These additional costs, if any, will be the responsibility
of the traveler. Any omissions or expenses incurred because
of travel delays will be borne by the passenger. We strongly
recommend travel insurance to cover the cost of delays
and omissions.
