About Cruising - Important Passenger Information for Alaska Cruises 7-Day Cruises Round Trip Seattle or Round Trip Vancouver, BC

#1 - Check Legal Names The names on your invoice should match the documentation you will be using to travel. If there is an incorrect name or an incorrect spelling, please contact us immediately. Service charges incurred for correcting these names after cruise tickets are issued are the passenger's responsibility.

#2 - Check Dining Norwegian Cruise Line invoices should all say "OPEN" dining because NCL has FREESTYLE DINING. For other cruise lines, EARLY dinner is around 6:00pm; LATE dinner is at around 8:00pm. (All other meals are "Open Seating".) If the dining seating you would like is NOT correct on the invoice, please call us now. We will "cross-reference" your dining so you will be assigned to eat with friends.

#3 - Travel Insurance We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance, and if you purchase ACCESS AMERICA within 14 days of making your reservation, they will provide maximum coverage including a waiver of "Pre-existing Medical Conditions" clauses. Please call Parker Cruise & Tour to purchase the insurance. (Note: The 14-day exclusion includes holidays and weekends.)

#4 - Proof of Citizenship A valid passport or certified copy of your birth certificate AND a photo ID are required for cruise travel. If you are denied boarding because you do not have proper identification and documentation to travel, Parker Cruise & Tour is not responsible and you may forfeit 100% of what you paid for your cruise.

#5 - Cancellations Cancellation penalties apply a MINIMUM of 60 days prior to travel. These are outlined in the cruise line brochure and are on a graduated scale. IE Cancellations made within 14 days of travel generally incur a penalty of 100% of the amount paid. Knowledge of these conditions is the passenger's responsibility.

Your Tickets After we receive your final payment, and approximately 21 days prior to your cruise, we will receive your tickets from the cruise line. We will proofread them and forward them to you via regular mail. OR... your tickets will be available as "e-docs" per instructions with your invoice.

You do not have to reserve parking in advance; you can often pre-order shore excursions, or they can sometimes be purchased in advance ON LINE at the cruise line's web site.
